Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II for the Fort Wayne, IN site. The role focuses on developing and integrating test solutions across products and life cycles, combining hardware interfaces with automated software to verify production and lab tests.

The position requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. Onsite work in Fort Wayne is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading schematics and troubleshooting hardware.
• Experience writing software and debugging code.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in manufacturing and service environments.
• Design test hardware, develop automated test software, and integrate the overall test solution with the end product.
• Interface with internal systems, hardware, and software product design teams.
• Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management, and customers.
• Document test solutions through drawings, procedures, and other formal documentation
