Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Technical Training Specialist (Starlink) in Bastrop, TX. The role involves delivering hands-on training across factory, classroom, and office environments, developing and updating training materials, and coordinating qualification-based programs to ensure safety and efficiency on production lines.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing planning and 2+ years in training coordination or learning and development, with strong communication skills and proficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing planning environment.
• 2+ years in training coordination, project coordination, and/or learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training instructions using manufacturing planning-based applications.
• Steer the introduction of training documentation used by production and engineering for on-the-job training.
• Lead implementation of qualification-based authority training initiatives for training & certification verification.
• Lead new course development and content creation aligned with engineering specifications.
• Identify and train on new process skills to reduce risk and increase proficiency.
• Create course materials such as PowerPoints, handouts, and tests with assessments.
• Lead training modules for SpaceX personnel in various topics (classroom and online).
• Develop process specifications and research on new technologies.
• Gather technical information from SMEs to inform training on complex processes.
• Monitor training impact and reduce human errors over time.
• Onboard Starlink Production Associate hires and set up initial training.
• Maintain training documents and SOPs in the Personnel Qualifications systems.
