SpaceX in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist for the Starlink program on the 2nd shift. You will help establish new manufacturing and test processes and support high-volume production of user terminals.

You will troubleshoot automated equipment, update work instructions, and train teammates, while collaborating with engineering to improve yield, cost, and throughput in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalency with 2+ years in hands-on manufacturing; OR bachelor's degree in engineering, math or science
• Experience operating and troubleshooting automated production equipment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and suggest improvements to processes or design

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot automated equipment and recurring line issues, and implement fixes with engineering and maintenance
• Triage non-conforming products and drive resolution and preventative actions
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost
• Update work instructions and train teammates on the standard process, rework, and equipment tasks
• Perform process development and validation on new equipment alongside engineering
• Define maintenance schedules and support activities
• Drive area improvements involving layout, 5S, material flow, tooling, and operator safety
