Job summary

Mac Duggal is seeking a technical designer with deep knowledge of garment construction and fit, particularly for womens dresses and gowns. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, self-motivation, and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The successful candidate will coordinate fittings, manage model bookings, drive fit corrections, and collaborate with both the Sample Room and Design teams to ensure sampling aligns with design intent.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of garment construction and fit is required.
• Experience with women's dress/gown fitting and alterations.
• Ability to interpret design intent into samples and builds.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for fittings.

Responsibilities

• Organize fitting schedule and ensure fittings are completed on time.
• Coordinate fit model bookings with agent and lead fittings.
• Identify necessary fit corrections and communicate them clearly.
• Use Procreate to create fitting comments and mark changes.
• Communicate with factories and respond to questions promptly.
• Collaborate with Sample Room Team to prep for fittings.
• Work with Design Team to ensure design intent is captured in sampling.
