RTX (Raytheon) in Tucson, AZ seeks a Systems Engineer II for the Systems Engineering and Test Center (SETC). This onsite role supports a range of defense programs, from concept through deployment, collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure mission-critical systems perform reliably.

Your work will span requirements, architecture, testing, and integration, with opportunities to travel to various RTX sites and customer locations as needed. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Competenze

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain active DoD security clearance is required.

Mansioni

• Update, maintain, and improve requirements; develop system architecture and MBSE.
• Develop test plans and procedures for simulated and real-world environments.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate results.
• Create and modify documentation for design reviews and test events.
• Support platform integration, flight test, and design verification execution.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues.
• Perform data analysis to verify requirements and optimize performance.
• Travel to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations as needed.
