Koniag Management Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support KMS and our government customer at Fort Lee, VA. This position requires the candidate to obtain a Public Trust.

It is on-site daily with no hybrid option. The role involves joining our product support team as an early-career engineer, handling system integrations and product upgrades, translating customer needs into technical requirements, and validating solutions through design and

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in a related area (or equivalent).
5+ years' experience as a Systems Engineer or equal experience in developing, implementing, and enhancing information systems, preferably for the federal government.
Familiar with enterprise architecture frameworks and diagrams/views.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Possess advanced troubleshooting skills.
Lead and direct the work of others.
2+ years of experience supporting and sustaining DOD programs preferred.

Mansioni

Capture, write, and maintain system and subsystem requirements, and keep them traceable to design and test.
Support system architecture work, including interface definitions and functional breakdowns.
Help plan and run integration and verification activities, and document the results.
Take part in design reviews, trade studies, and risk assessments.
Work with hardware, software, mechanical, and test engineers to resolve technical issues across disciplines.
Maintain technical documentation and configuration records.
Communicate with customers, suppliers, or internal stakeholders on technical topics as you grow into the role.
