Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to administer, maintain, support, and improve critical infrastructure systems. This role is fully onsite at 946 Quality Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720 and requires independent execution, clear documentation, and reliable communication on assigned initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on systems administration experience, strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, 365, virtualization, and backup/recovery,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in information technology or related field.
• 4–5 years of progressive hands‑on systems administration experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, 365, virtualization, backup/recovery, SQL support, PowerShell, endpoint and mobile management.
• Ability to work independently, manage projects, and provide regular progress updates.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and support Windows Server operating systems and core infrastructure services.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, certificates, and related server functions.
• Install, configure, document server-based applications, services, and recovery steps.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, licensing, mail flow, security settings, and collaboration tools.
• Support Nutanix virtualization, storage, compute, and capacity planning.
• Administer identity management systems (PingID/Okta) and access controls, MFA, and SSO.
• Maintain backup/recovery with Veeam and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for patching, automation, and reporting.
