Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Research Coordinator - Surgery Research in Evanston, IL. This onsite role supports primary and backup coordination of multiple studies with minimal supervision, including literature reviews, manuscript assistance, and mentorship of junior staff.

You will ensure protocol adherence, timelines, and regulatory compliance while managing basic financial activities related to assigned projects. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Social Science preferred.
• CCRP/ACRP certification or SRA International/NCURA certificate preferred.
• 1-3 years of research experience preferred.
• CITI Training Certification including Human Subject Research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI), Shipping and Transport of Regulated Biological Materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of assigned studies from screening to follow-up.
• Develop and implement study procedures to ensure protocol compliance.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect and ship lab specimens, and perform ECGs as required.
• Train and mentor Research Assistants and Senior Research Assistants.
• Maintain regulatory files and communicate with sponsors and IRB.
• Monitor data quality and address protocol deviations.
• Prepare and submit invoices and track project budgets.
• Recruit, screen, consent participants, and coordinate visits.
