Job summary

Ocean Spray is hiring a Supply Planner to help optimize production schedules and inventory at our Pennsylvania facilities. You will coordinate finite daily production, align capacity, and support the master production plan across plant and distribution networks.

Role requires onsite daily and interacts with supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and reduce unsaleables. Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in manufacturing supply chain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Understanding of inventory strategies (LIFO, FIFO).
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with Inventory Management system (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Define finite daily production schedule and capabilities (changeovers, sequencing, sanitation).
• Establish aligned plant capacity and communicate adjustments to plan.
• Attain master production plan and support optimal schedule development.
• Support planning process and utilization of required tools.
• Facilitate meetings with plant and corporate resources to align on plan.
• Provide leadership in inventory management and cycle counting.
• Manage materials including disposition of obsolete items and new production introductions.
• Oversee WMS and Red Prairie maintenance.
• Monitor inventory turn targets and warehouse capacity.
• Ensure planning objectives are met safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
