Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator (Level 2 or 3) to join our Global Supply Chain team. The role focuses on shop-floor material flow, raw material inventory, and coordination with AS Program PMs, production, and shipping to meet customer requirements.

The position is on site with a 1st shift schedule (Fri-Sun 3/10s) and requires the ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance. Prior experience with SAP/MES and forklift operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years in logistics support or warehousing.
• 4 years of logistics experience for Level 3.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to perform physical tasks; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company-owned vehicles.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency with MS 365, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supports multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
• Loads, unloads, moves materials to work sites; may include shipping/receiving.
• Opens containers, weighs materials, and records information.
• Loads materials onto pallets and into trucks as needed.
• Conveys materials using hand truck or forklift; stacks and assembles.
• Delivers parts to MRB and handles chemicals and supplies when required.
• Wraps and packs kits for on- and offsite locations.
• Certifies material buyoffs per conformance documentation.
• Maintains raw material inventory for production needs.
• Works with Operations and shop floor on material availability.
• Operates company vehicles to move parts between sites.
