Job summary

Swoon Staffing is seeking a Buyer for a 12-month contract in Mossville, IL. This fully onsite role requires 2-4 years in supply chain with strong Excel and SAP MACH1 proficiency. You will collaborate with Sales and Engineering, manage supplier relations, and help optimize purchasing and contracts.

The position offers an opportunity to extend or convert to full-time, with standard interviews and background checks as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field is required.
• 2-4 years of finance-related experience is required.
• Local to Mossville, IL area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools (VLOOKUP, pivots).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering).

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
• Approve purchases and purchase orders to ensure best value.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and vendors.
• Collaborate with staff to resolve issues with undelivered goods.
• Track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of orders and contracts.
