Job summary

Vincere is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer for an Addison, IL area client in the electronics manufacturing sector. This on-site role focuses on timely procurement, inventory control, and ensuring delivery performance for production and customers.

The temp-to-perm position runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain with 3+ years of manufacturing purchasing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office.
• Must have worked in ERP systems.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPSM certs are a plus (must have a willingness to obtain)
• Experience with procuring raw materials and components.
• Experience coordinating inventory planning, replenishment, and forecasting activities with Production Control, Operations, Engineering, and Sales.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, manage PO's, delivery schedules, expedites, and material shortages
• Experience leading supplier negotiations, RFQs, cost reduction initiatives, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvement efforts
• Experience with inventory accuracy initiatives, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials timely to support production and deliveries.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Production, Operations, Engineering and Sales to forecast and plan needs.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and expedites.
• Lead supplier negotiations and drive cost reduction initiatives.

I have a client located in the Addison, IL area that has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Buyer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role

In this role you will be working as a Supply Chain Buyer for a client that is in the electronic manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for ensuring timely procurement of materials, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting production and customer deliveries.

This is a temp to possible perm role that must be performed on-site. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The pay is $35.00 to $45.00 an hour based on experience.
