Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for an onsite role in Davenport, IA, supporting the AER MSD Mission System Division. The position focuses on quality management with suppliers and internal teams to ensure ongoing reliability and compliance.

You will drive root cause analysis, lead MRB reviews, perform supplier audits, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards, with collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment (Internship/Co-Op experience included).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 70 miles of the Davenport, IA facility will be considered.
• This position requires ITAR compliance; U.S. persons only.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering, customers, and suppliers on quality issues.
• Represent QA on MRB, IPTs, and corrective action teams.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement with suppliers to reduce defects and improve on-time delivery.
• Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms.
• Document test results and prepare quality documents.
• Lead audits and report findings.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams promptly.
• Provide QA data analysis support.
• Review supplier qualification packages, FAI, and PPAP.
