Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Supplier Quality Engineer to join Boeing Global Services in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role supports government sustainment programs and manages quality across the supply base from inception to post-delivery.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, containment, and maintaining QA documentation in line with Boeing's QMS. Requires at least a bachelor-level engineering degree and 3+ years of problem-solving experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 3+ years of experience solving technical problems.
• ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed Quality Engineering investigations, execute product containment, and implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Verify routine product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results.
• Identify and document discrepancies; segregate and control non-conforming items.
• Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances for corrective action.
• Integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into proposals and program processes.
• Develop quality metrics and quality plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
• Process supplier notice of escapements and perform supplier performance improvement.
