Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies seeks a Substitute Teacher in Nashville, TN to support the educational team for a 9-month term. The role operates under the supervision of the Assistant Principal and requires following lesson plans, supervising students, and upholding school procedures.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of college or a bachelor’s degree; a higher degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of college or a Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree of higher (non-certified) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the educational office each morning upon arrival and after dismissal.
• Follow lesson plans and assume duties per school rules (lunchroom, bus, hall duties).
• Familiarize self with emergency procedures and medical needs as outlined in substitute folder.
• Maintain normal classroom routines as much as possible.
• Supervise students at all times and report major discipline issues.
• Protect confidentiality of all students; discuss observations only with administrators.
