Job summary

SIU Medicine is seeking a staff member to support student financial aid programs and related operations on the Springfield campus. The role includes processing awards, budgeting, and assisting with documentation and compliance for federal and institutional rules.

You will help advise students and families, manage data in the Banner system, and assist with required reporting and communication with departments and applicants.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations as they apply to packaging and disbursement.
• Knowledge of the student application process.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities related to student financial aid programs for the School of Medicine.
• Enter and update financial aid information, budgets, and award packages with accuracy.
• Review financial aid records for completeness and assist with processing and awarding.
