Job summary

Related Companies in New York City seeks a Structural APM to oversee the planning, design and construction of foundation and structural systems for residential and commercial office developments in NYC and NJ. This full-time, onsite role is based in our Hudson Yards office and reports to the Vice President of Structural Design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design and/or construction management.
• Experience in high-rise projects in NYC/NJ preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA 30 and Procore.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept design through construction completion and close-out.
• Coordinate with design team on structural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, conduct site visits and site meetings.
• Assist with foundation and superstructure trade procurement and related scopes.
• Provide engineering, code and technical oversight during peer reviews.
• Review RFIs and submittals and manage information flow from trades to designers.
• Assist with budget control and schedule oversight.
• Support review of contractor change orders.
