Job summary

The International in Champaign, IL is seeking a Structural Engineer to join a small, experienced team on onsite, full-time basis. You'll run structural analysis across diverse industrial and commercial projects, design with wood, concrete, steel, and masonry, and prepare construction documents in AutoCAD (Revit a plus).

You'll own projects from concept through construction, collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers, visit sites, and contribute to a culture that values mentorship and clear

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis required.
• 3+ years of structural engineering experience.
• AutoCAD experience is essential; Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Running structural analysis, calculations and design across various projects.
• Designing in wood, masonry, concrete, steel, and aluminum.
• Preparing construction documents in AutoCAD (Revit a plus).
• Applying building codes and safety regulations.
• Supporting proposals, budgets, schedules and client communication.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors and other engineers.
• Site visits for observations, investigations and repair assessments.
• Assessing existing systems and recommending improvements
