Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Clarendon, South Carolina is seeking a Storeroom Leader to oversee all MRO inventory, ensure reliable uptime, and minimize total cost of ownership. This onsite role reports to the Purchasing & Stores Manager and involves leading storeroom processes and improvements.

The candidate will work with maintenance and operations to align inventory needs with reliability goals, manage cycle counts, and drive efficiency across storeroom operations in a high-volume facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of inventory management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with inventory management software and systems.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall Spare Parts supply operations, including receiving and managing MRO parts and storeroom inventory.
• Develop inventory plans and maintain optimal inventory levels; classify parts by criticality to uptime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to understand inventory needs and ensure reliability at the best total cost.
• Identify opportunities for stores-related process improvements and implement changes.
• Conduct periodic inventory reviews, cycle counts, overmax evaluations, and min/max setting based on usage and lead time.
