Job summary

Direct Meds is hiring a Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work onsite in Tomball, Texas. You will prepare sterile products in a USP <797> compliant cleanroom under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge.

Role requires active TX pharmacy technician license, sterile compounding certification, and ability to report to Tomball on a full- or part-time basis. This onsite position excludes remote work and emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician license/registration as required by the state.
• Sterile compounding certification (e.g., CSPT) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
• Ability to work full shifts in cleanroom garment and aseptic technique.
• Commitment to onsite Tomball, TX reporting and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile preparations in a USP <797>-compliant cleanroom
• Gown, garb, and maintain proper aseptic technique
• Calculate, label, and document each preparation accurately
• Complete cleanroom cleaning, sanitization, and quality checks
• Support inventory, dating, and workflow with the pharmacist and team
• Follow SOPs and report issues promptly
