Job summary

Met-Con, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead onsite structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals projects. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success from detailing through scheduling while maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress reporting.

You will review specifications, prepare critical documents, and negotiate change orders with clients and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on every project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior PM experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals.
• A valid US driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of AISC and PCI standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred.
• Understanding mathematics and basic field measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals on onsite projects.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure project success, from detailing to schedules.
• Review specifications, prepare critical documents, and maintain detailed progress reports.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and client proposals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders.
