Surge Staffing is seeking an Onsite Staffing Specialist to join our team at a customer location. This full-time, permanent role focuses on recruiting top talent, delivering exceptional service to clients and temporary staff, and supporting client workforce needs.

The ideal candidate builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while helping people find employment and ensuring client success. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales, customer service, recruiting, or staffing experience.
• Experience in a client-facing or staffing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Perform administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and personnel records maintenance.
• Assist with business development opportunities and account growth initiatives.

Onsite Staffing Specialist (Recruiting, Customer Service & Sales)

Surge Staffing is seeking an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Onsite Staffing Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent internal position responsible for supporting client workforce needs, recruiting top talent, and providing exceptional customer service to both clients and temporary employees.

Position Summary

As an Onsite Staffing Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and client management at an assigned customer location. You will recruit, interview, onboard, and support employees while ensuring workforce needs are met and client expectations are exceeded.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 am-3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees
• Recruit, interview, screen, and onboard qualified candidates
• Source talent through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms
• Match candidate qualifications and skill sets to client workforce needs
• Maintain a strong onsite presence and build relationships with client leadership and employees
• Conduct new hire orientations, facility tours, & employee onboarding
• Monitor attendance, performance, and employee retention
• Address employee concerns, questions, and workplace issues in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct regular follow-up with employees and client contacts to ensure satisfaction
• Assist with workforce planning and staffing forecasts, including terminations
• Perform administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and employee record maintenance
• Support client retention efforts through exceptional service and communication
• Assist with business development opportunities and account growth initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of sales, customer service, recruiting, or staffing experience
• Management/supervisor experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong phone presence and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred

• Previous staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or workforce management experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience working directly with clients in a service-driven environment
