Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, part of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking full-time staff pharmacists to join their team at the Newark, DE location. The role is onsite and requires availability for Sunday through Thursday, or Sunday/Monday-Thursday shifts in Eastern Time. Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, advising patients, compounding and dispensing medications, and ensuring quality and timely order processing.

The ideal candidate holds an ACPE-accredited Pharm.D. or B.S.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D. or B.S.)
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing
• At least 1 year of relevant pharmacist experience

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and verify information to expedite orders.
• Contact doctors or patients to verify prescription details and resolve issues.
• Compound and dispense medications following guidelines; supervise technicians.
• Provide patient counseling and assess drug interactions; track orders and maintain quality.
