Job summary

Alliance Performance, part of Alliance Health Systems, seeks a Sports Performance Analytics Intern to organize and upload performance testing data for coaches and clinicians. This onsite, part-time role (10–20 hours/week) provides exposure to real-world sports science in a healthcare and athletic setting in Fair Lawn, NJ.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related fields and has strong data-entry, organizational, and communication

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance, Sports Science, Biomechanics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular and metabolic systems; aerobic and anaerobic energy systems; VO2 concepts; fatigue thresholds and performance adaptation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Organize, structure, and upload 50–100 weekly performance assessments into designated reporting and analytics platforms
• Maintain accurate and timely records of monthly retesting data for returning clients
• Ensure performance testing results are standardized, clean, and consumable for coaches and clients
• Track client progress across testing cycles and assist in maintaining longitudinal performance records
• Support quality control and data integrity for all uploaded assessments
