Aegis Aerospace, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer Ground Systems to support the DHSTO 2 contract onsite at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

You will develop applications for payload testing, ground-support equipment software, and operational ground systems, coordinating with C & DH engineers and operations personnel to meet project objectives. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, architecture development, code reviews, deployment, and on-orbit operations

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software-development experience.
• Experience Windows/Linux development environments.
• Experience with Python/Flask or JavaScript with React or Vue.js.
• Agile software-development experience.
• Ability to work with limited initial requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for payload testing and ground-support systems.
• Create and maintain clear code and software documentation.
• Analyze and document software requirements with project teams.
• Develop system architectures meeting project and IT requirements.
• Support software deployment, testing, and on-orbit operations.
• Participate in peer code reviews and design reviews.
