Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Site Sourcing Specialist for an onsite position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Duncan, SC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: Up to $40.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications This role serves as the primary interface between the local site and regional commodity teams. The specialist will lead or participate in special projects related to sourcing, including management of site-specific commodities, compliance management, and supplier

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, economics or finance preferred.
• 3–5+ years manufacturing, transportation or heavy construction experience.
• 2–4+ years purchasing experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and on cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), import/export laws, incoterms, and methodologies used in project management, material planning, and quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP systems experience (Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, Baan).

Responsibilities

• Monitor direct material variances to inform finance and bid and proposal teams.
• Enter and maintain sourcing rules/parameters in ERP systems.
• Coordinate APQP/PPAP qualification with quality and engineering.
• Provide site level documentation to regional commodity teams.
• Escalate and resolve supply chain issues; manage supplier qualification activities.
• Manage site commodities and services, including RFI/RFQ where assigned.
