Job summary

ECPI University is seeking a Software Developer to create software applications by translating business requirements into dynamic, functional software. You will work in Agile teams, applying modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

This full-time role at our Virginia Beach, VA location requires a four-year degree and 2-5 years of experience with .NET technologies, React, and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; AI-assisted development exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain software applications and services.
• Develop web applications and business solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and ensure quality.
• Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, and collaboration.
• Apply best practices to maintain and improve platforms and apps.
