Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc seeks an on-site ASL interpreter to provide high quality interpretation at various customer locations. Must be fluent in ASL and spoken English, with strong interpreting skills and NAD-RID conduct knowledge.

Part-time/flex schedule with competitive pay and benefits available to eligible interpreters. Qualifications include NAD IV/V or RID certification, Deaf culture understanding, and 2–5 years of interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Valid NAD IV/V, BEI-Advanced or Master or RID certification.
• Good understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• State licensure or credentials where applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
