Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Shipping Supervisor in Fort Mill, SC to lead daily shipping operations for on-time customer shipments. This on-site role requires coordinating with Production, Planning, Materials, and Customer Service to optimize safety, quality, and cost performance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of shipping/logistics experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems and Masterpak. Associate's or Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or equivalent education in a related field preferred.
3–5 years in shipping, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain in manufacturing.
Experience with inventory transactions, shipping docs, and transport coordination.
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop shipping team to meet safety, quality, productivity, and customer service goals.
Plan and coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Supervise shipping staff incl. assignments, training, performance management, attendance and development.
Coordinate carrier scheduling and shipment documentation to ensure efficient product movement.
