Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Wastewater Project Manager to join our team in Bisbee, AZ. You’ll oversee the overall management of the project, including profit and loss, permits, process control, health and safety, and staffing.

You will lead the daily operations, biosolids management, SCADA, and laboratory activities while building strong client relationships. The role requires extensive wastewater experience, budgeting expertise, and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in the wastewater segment with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience developing budgets and tracking actual expenditures vs budget and variance reporting
• Experience developing a Capital Improvement Plan
• Experience with compiling of data, DMR completion and submittal
• Experience in written and oral presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions
• Expected to reside within 20 miles of the Bisbee project location

Responsibilities

• Oversee project profitability and loss, permitting, process control, health and safety, quality, internal/external reporting and supervision.
• Lead day-to-day operations responsibilities including biosolids management, SCADA and laboratory tasks.
• Build and maintain positive business and customer relationships; manage staffing and workforce development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective safety programs across the project.
• Coordinate budgeting and reporting, with focus on schedule adherence and performance metrics.
