Job summary

RTX in Middletown, RI seeks a senior engineer to design and evolve advanced detection/classification algorithms for deployed systems. You will optimize sensor software architectures and perform real-time evaluation with hardware-in-the-loop across embedded and server platforms.

The role requires C/C++ real-time development, MATLAB-based prototyping, and signal processing expertise, with travel for field testing and a DoD Secret clearance. On-site employment in the US is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in STEM with 8+ years of professional experience.
• Master’s with 5+ years; PhD with 3+ years.
• Hands-on C/C++ real-time software development.
• MATLAB or similar for algorithm design, prototyping, and data analysis.
• Signal processing knowledge applied to real-world systems.
• Willing to travel for field testing and customer integration.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities
