Job summary
Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer to join the Strategic Solutions Security Engineering team onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role requires an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
You will develop cybersecurity solutions, validate RMF artifacts, and coordinate remediation with engineers and program managers. Responsibilities include implementing STIGs, performing vulnerability scanning, and supporting Linux system administration
Qualifications
- Typically requires STEM degree with 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
- Active and transferable Secret clearance required, ability to obtain Top Secret.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearances.
- Experience with RMF, STIGs and IA certification processes.
Responsibilities
- Support RMF artifacts and security control validation to obtain/maintain ATO.
- Review system changes for cybersecurity impact and accreditation.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and remediate findings.
