Job summary

Wilks Development, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, produce timely statements for multiple entities and active development projects, and ensure GAAP compliance across the business.

You will manage general ledgers, month-end closings, project accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and lenders while supporting forecasting and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting including job costing and WIP.
• Experience with construction draws, budgets, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency with real estate accounting software and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities and development projects.
• Maintain general ledgers, perform month-end and year-end closings.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Perform project accounting including cost tracking, budgeting, and variance analysis for active developments.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
