Job summary

apexanalytix is hiring a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to work onsite in Greensboro, NC. You will interpret product requirements, design and execute automated tests, and report results to management.

You’ll build and maintain test frameworks using Selenium with C# or Java, Python, and stay current with Cypress and Playwright trends. Your role includes developing test plans, writing functional tests, and performing backend API testing.

Qualifications

• Strong QA/testing aptitude with the ability to understand defined requirements for current and future products.
• Experience creating test cases/build test plans, executing plans, and reporting results to management.
• Ability to develop automated test frameworks and maintain test artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and C# / Java / Python.
• Explore latest automation tool trends such as Cypress and Playwright.
• Review specifications to ensure understanding of deliverables.
• Estimate time for test cases, test plans, and features.
• Create and maintain functional test cases and test data.
• Execute and evaluate test results, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Lead testing efforts for specific applications/products.
• Log defects clearly and timely; escalate issues to QA Manager.
• Adhere to testing processes and policies; participate in test plan reviews.
• Identify potential quality issues and communicate them early.
