Job summary

Data Device Corporation (DDC) is seeking a Senior Production Planner to develop and execute production plans supporting customer commitments and revenue objectives at our Bohemia, NY office. You will partner across functions to balance demand, material availability, and capacity.

The role emphasizes ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a high-mix, low-volume environment within the Databus Components and Databus Systems business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
• Aerospace/defense/electronics or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP, MRP, Master Scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex activities across multiple functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and drive execution.
• Demonstrated history of initiative and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer backlog into executable manufacturing demand.
• Maintain Master Production Schedules to support delivery requirements, business unit objectives, and capacity constraints.
• Own planning for assigned critical product lines, ensuring alignment between commitments, schedules, materials, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to align priorities, risks, and delivery.
• Lead schedule reviews and execution meetings to identify risks and recovery opportunities.
• Drive execution by removing obstacles and resolving issues impacting schedules.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions.
• Develop recovery plans for past-due orders and constrained resources.
• Analyze MRP, capacity, inventory, and demand data to support decisions.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes while maintaining schedule integrity.
• Communicate schedule status and KPIs to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with Business Development and Customer Service for lead-times and updates.
• Drive continuous improvement for schedule attainment and efficiency.
• Serve as primary planning focal for Databus components and systems.
