Job summary

Raytheon in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for 100% onsite work at our facility. You will work with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NIST SP, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM and related directives, supporting RMF processes and cybersecurity documentation.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years, and a strong background in cybersecurity, compliance auditing, and system hardening.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in cybersecurity, systems security or hardening.
• Familiar with RMF/DAAPM/JSIG/NISPOM and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing, security plan development and education.
• Investigating information system security violations and reporting corrective actions.
• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Creating and updating cybersecurity documentation.
