Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Moreno Valley, California seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to review deliverables, manage sequencing, assess risks, and improve field execution on large EPC industrial projects.

You will coordinate with PMO, contract management, and suppliers, report daily on site, and guide commissioning and turnover activities, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering programs on time and with quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of construction experience on large EPC industrial projects.
• Demonstrated experience with compressor stations, gas plants, power plants, or refineries.
• Proven background in field construction management, execution oversight, and constructability reviews.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, work packaging, and installation practices.
• Experience with commissioning and turnover processes on EPC projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with client personnel, EPC suppliers, and project teams.
• Must be capable of reporting daily, in person, to the project site in Moreno Valley, California.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent construction safety training.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other PM scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering deliverables for constructability, sequencing, and installation feasibility.
• Identify construction risks, conflicts, and inefficiencies in design.
• Provide recommendations to improve field execution, safety, and productivity.
• Support alignment between engineering design and construction execution.
• Advise on construction execution strategies, phasing, and sequencing.
• Evaluate supplier construction plans for completeness and schedule alignment.
• Provide insight into site logistics, work packaging, and field productivity.
• Identify early indicators of execution risk or inefficiencies.
• Review EPC supplier submittals including work plans and installation procedures.
• Assess submittals for constructability and alignment with contract documents.
• Offer recommendations for acceptance, comments, or rejection.
• Support review of RFIs for technical completeness and cost/schedule impacts.
