Job summary

Energy Northwest in Richland, WA, seeks an engineer to provide independent engineering service and support for complex tasks across design modifications, operations, and assessments. You will mentor colleagues, lead small groups, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and seven years' experience, or a PE license with eight years' experience.
• For Senior: Bachelor’s with three years' discipline experience or PE with five years' experience; high school/GED required.
• Staff Engineer: BS in Engineering and at least one year; or PE license with one year; high school diploma/GED required.
• Engineer: BS in Engineering or PE license and zero to three years' discipline experience; high school diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex engineering analyses and designs for operations, systems, audits, and assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and training on complex or extended projects.
• Lead small teams; mentor engineers and provide direction to solve complex issues.
• Identify need for new policies and procedures to meet strategic objectives; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Emergency Response and outage activities; be on-call and available as required.
