Job summary

Stellent IT LLC seeks a Sr. Electro-Mechanical Engineer in Sunnyvale, onsite, with 9–18 years’ experience. The role focuses on mechanical verification, fixture design, and reliability testing across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• 8+ years in electro-mechanical engineering with validation/reliability experience.
• Experience authoring and executing mechanical validation plans with acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on in test fixtures design, sensor selection, and measurement-uncertainty.
• Proficient in Python for test automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define mechanical verification methodologies with researchers, architects and design teams.
• Perform verification for thermal, vibration, mechanical stress testing, etc.
• Define and track detailed test plans for modules and top-level systems.
• Design and drive scalable test infrastructure and fixtures.
• Manage coverage metrics, bugs, and resolutions; report results.
• Lead FMEA, reliability analysis, and GD&T activities with cross-functional teams.
• Support system bring-up, debug, and data-driven decision making.
• Oversee external vendors for fixture development and data collection.
