Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Elastic Engineer to support a leading tech and engineering organization delivering mission-critical solutions for the DoD, IC, and federal civilian agencies. This role is fully onsite at Scott AFB in Illinois with relocation assistance and requires an active Secret clearance or higher.
The ideal Sr. Elastic Engineer will build and deploy Elastic environments from scratch, understand Kubernetes and ECK, and own the environment through ongoing operations.
Qualifications
- Build and deploy Elastic environments from scratch in production.
- Deep Kubernetes and ECK experience for cluster deployment and management.
- Experience with IAM policies, ingest pipelines, and security within Elastic platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and own Elastic environments and custom clusters across production Kubernetes environments.
- Deploy and manage Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) including Operator/Helm deployments.
- Manage day-to-day Elastic platform operations, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and configure custom ingest pipelines and integrations, including Cribl where applicable.
- Implement and manage IAM policies and platform security across large-scale environments.
