Job summary

GBIT (Global Bridge InfoTech Inc) is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design and build scalable eCommerce solutions for B2B and B2C platforms. The role blends solution design with active hands‑on development across frontend, backend, integrations, and cloud services.

The successful candidate will work with product owners and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into secure, high‑performing digital solutions, while mentoring others and championing engineering best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
6+ years of application development experience for eCommerce (B2B/B2C).
Experience designing modular UI architectures and API-driven systems.
Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts and workflows.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/Bitbucket).
Knowledge of web app security and performance optimization.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable eCommerce solutions aligned with requirements.
Translate business concepts into technical designs and plans.
Create modern architectures includingMicro-Frontend, MicroApps, Atomic Design, and Server-Driven UI.
Collaborate with Product, UX, Mobile, Integration, and Platform teams.
Engage in hands-on development across frontend, backend, and cloud services.
Lead integrations and platform development; ensure performance and security.
