Job summary

ManTech in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team supporting a large US Government program onsite. You will apply systems engineering across the lifecycle and interact with government stakeholders.

The role requires a STEM bachelor, 7 years' experience, DoD 8570 IAT III or ability to obtain, and familiarity with DoD 5000.02 documentation, agile processes, and systems artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• 7+ years of position-relevant work experience.
• DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements.
• Experience with use case development and requirements derivation.
• Experience with developing technical project artifacts.
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across the lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
• Interact with Government stakeholders, project personnel, and senior executives.
• Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables.
