Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Java and AWS expertise for a 100% onsite contract in Westlake Village, CA. You will design, deploy, secure, and scale CI/CD pipelines, containerized microservices, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Expect ownership of IaC, automation, and cross‑functional collaboration in an Agile environment. The role requires 7–10+ years of progressive experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure, with hands-on AWS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 7–10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on AWS administration and cloud service configuration experience.
• Proficient Java programming with Spring Boot and enterprise app deployment.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD automation, version control workflows, and build tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• IaC experience with Terraform and CloudFormation; Linux admin and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; on-site Westlake Village, CA with in-person interview.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, secure, and scale production infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for Java microservices and apps.
• Create and manage IaC templates using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Administer Linux systems, Docker, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash; leverage REST APIs.
• Monitor resource usage, performance, and log aggregation; troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and security teams; document runbooks.
