Job summary

Happy Global seeks a Senior Data Engineer for the US market to design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse and processing infrastructure for Bambu Lab’s U.S. operations.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and global teams to deliver reliable data solutions while ensuring compliance with CCPA and GDPR, and you will guide data governance initiatives across cross-border projects. The role is onsite in the United States with strong growth prospects.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in data warehouse modeling and pipelines.
• Experience with offline and real-time data processing.
• Expertise with Hadoop, Spark, Iceberg, Flink.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (CCPA, GDPR).
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and end-to-end development of offline data warehouse systems.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouse architectures.
• Develop domain knowledge across business functions and translate requirements into scalable data warehouse solutions.
• Design data models and architecture supporting analytical and operational needs.
• Develop and optimize offline and real-time data processing solutions.
• Partner with China-based data engineering team on regional data requirements.
• Implement and maintain data governance and privacy controls to ensure compliance.
• Drive continuous improvements in data platform stability, scalability, and maintainability.
