Job summary

Via Logic LLC in Ashburn, VA is seeking an Operations Enhancement Analyst at junior or mid level to strengthen the Security Operations Center. The role focuses on automating workflows, refining playbooks, tuning security tooling, and measuring improvements against KPIs.

The position requires US citizenship and CBP High Trust suitability, with onsite work at a government site. You’ll collaborate across cybersecurity teams and government partners to deliver measurable security improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, or automation roles.
• Ability to analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Experience with SOC processes and technologies for monitoring, detection, and response.
• Experience creating or updating technical documentation such as playbooks and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement and maturation of SOC processes and visibility.
• Develop, maintain automation scripts and SOAR playbooks.
• Troubleshoot SOAR code, integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Define and track KPIs to measure automation and tuning effectiveness.
• Identify gaps in detection and propose improvements across SIEM, EDR, IDS, and cloud security.
• Draft and maintain security content, including signatures and alerts.
• Configure and tune network, endpoint, and mobile security tools.
• Communicate updates to security content to teams and partners.
