Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Insider Threat Monitoring Analyst to support CBP cybersecurity operations at a government site in Ashburn, VA. This full-time, W-2 role focuses on analyzing user behavior, access patterns, and security events to identify insider threat indicators.

You will use insider threat monitoring tools to identify anomalous activity, investigate alerts, and document findings that protect sensitive information and government systems. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CBP background investigation and suitability for access to government facilities and systems.
• Onsite work in Ashburn, VA with travel expectations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support insider threat monitoring by analyzing user behavior, access patterns, security events, and other activity for indicators.
• Monitor DLP solutions and security tools to support investigations.
• Investigate DLP alerts involving potential data exfiltration of CBP data or sensitive employee information.
• Support UAM activities and investigative tasks as directed by government staff.
• Monitor network activity for potential misuse and policy violations.
• Analyze alerts and investigations to identify suspicious activity and support actions.
• Support investigations involving malicious activity, policy violations, or unauthorized disclosure of information.
• Assist with sensitive-data spillage response following guidance and procedures.
• Monitor government laptops and devices for suspicious activity related to foreign travel.
• Suggest improvements to insider threat alert triggers and detections.
• Document investigative activity and contribute to incident notifications and reports.
