Job summary

Event Risk Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Security Professional to manage front desk operations, access control and basic security functions at the Mt. Juliet site. The role focuses on safeguarding personnel and property while delivering professional client service.

You will coordinate with the Security team, support emergency procedures, supervise security staff, and maintain security systems. The position is on-site in Mt. Juliet, TN, with full-time hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Tennessee Armed Guard License is required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with basic office safety protocols; prior training preferred.
• Experience in leading teams, scheduling, training and conflict resolution.
• Strong verbal and written communication, professional demeanor with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; able to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on-call as needed.
• Working knowledge of CTPAT best practices as per US CBP.
• Strong leadership and customer service and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility’s security program to safeguard personnel, assets, operations and infrastructure.
• Serves as the site’s Security Subject Matter Expert on evaluating and ensuring compliance with security directives and standards.
• Maintains Site Security Plan and ensures policy compliance.
• Supports Emergency Response Plan and participates in the Emergency Response Team.
• Disseminates security information to locally assigned employees; enhances security culture.
• Tracks improvements and closes out corrective actions.
• Conducts site security investigations in coordination with Regional Security Manager.
• Provides timely incident notifications to site, country and regional security personnel.
• Supports Workplace Violence Prevention and Active Shooter Response programs; serves on Threat Management Team.
• Manages site security systems (visitor management, access control, CCTV, badges).
• Collaborates with HR on terminations and post-termination security support.
• Maintains liaison with local law enforcement for safeguarding the facility.
• Manages security staff and supervisors on-site.
• Advises leadership on CTPAT standards and policies.
