Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) seeks an AI Engineer to design and deploy secure AI systems that connect foundation models with enterprise data and services at a Government facility in Charleston, SC.

You will build agent architectures, advanced retrieval capabilities, and stateful workflows while enforcing user permissions and maintaining controlled execution. This hands-on role requires TS/SCI clearance and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a computer science concentration.
• Hands-on production experience with MCP servers/clients, LangGraph, CrewAI, and Claude Agent SDK.
• Retrieval/Context: GraphRAG, dynamic query routing, self-correcting retrieval, context compression, state serialization.
• Security/Schema Mapping: JSON Schema and Protobuf; IAM tokens/claims for zero-trust data access.
• Production Reliability: fault-tolerant distributed systems, idempotent mutations, and HITL suspension/resumption.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness to work full-time onsite at a Government facility.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Agentic Architecture & Protocol Integration: Architect modular agent ecosystems using MCP to connect foundation models, tools, and data services.
• Next-Gen RAG & Stateful Reasoning: Engineer Graph-based RAG, Agentic Routing, and memory architectures for long-lived sessions.
• Data Governance & Entitlement Enforcement: Map data schemas to ACLs/RBAC/ABAC for authorized access.
• Runtime Guardrails & System Stability: Build resilient execution harnesses with idempotent retries, budget controls, and HITL gates.
