Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications. You will create scalable Selenium-based scripts in Java, craft test cases and strategies, and execute tests across QA and staging environments.

The role requires integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and collaborating with an onshore-offshore team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA automation, strong Java skills, and experience with Web UI testing, Git, and test

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software QA/testing and automation experience.
• Strong Web UI testing with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
• Proficient in Git, Jenkins, Maven/ANT.
• Familiar with debugging tools and Jira, QA/test management tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated test solutions for web apps.
• Develop scalable Selenium-based automation scripts in Java.
• Create detailed test cases and strategies.
• Execute tests across environments (QA, STG) and report results.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and participate in defect triage.
