Job summary

E-Therapy in Aurora, IL is hiring an onsite School Psychologist for the 26/27 school year. The role begins August 2026 and is full-time (7.5 hours/day). IL PEL with School Psychologist endorsement required.

You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, collaborate on IEPs/BIPs, provide counseling, and support students' academic and social-emotional well-being. Competitive starting rate $50/hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in school/educational settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures and testing procedures.
• Understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to students, families, teachers, and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs, BIPs, and academic interventions.
• Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to students individually and in groups.
• Consult with teachers and parents to provide strategies to support development.
• Conduct crisis intervention and coordinate with administrators and resources as needed.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives related to climate, SEL, and mental health promotion.
• Maintain confidential records of assessments and counseling sessions.
